Christmas!

I know its take me foreverrrr to post this, but I'm really busy!
So Chirstmas Eve we visited my grandparents & Aunt Sandi in Altair, & Christmas morning we woke up with Toulouse for our first "family" Christmas morning!

I think kitty somehow sensed my excitement, as he woke us up WAY earlier than normal!

Here's our cute stockings (after santa filled them of course!)

Don't make fun of them, they were a dollar at the dollar tree!

Since I was really sad I wouldn't be able to do the traditional "poppers" we do every year, I decided to make a new tradition, and open them in our stockings!

Yes, the pictures are awful, but you get the point! 

Here's Toulouse looking insanely confused about his new panda. He LOVES his panda. I mean, LOVES. When he was a kitten he would carry it around in his mouth even though it was bigger than him! He would sleep cuddled up to it & it was so cute! We think his siblings must have been black & white, since he wrestles it like it's another cat! But to this day it is still his favorite toy, & when he sulks under the couch (& won't come out to even the sound of food) the sound of those panda beebees are the ONLY thing that will get him charging out! ANYWAY, I found an exact replica of his beloved baby at Goodwill, for a dollar!

ANOTHER PANDA?!

After gifts we spent the ENTIRE day at grannie's with the cousins! Even though I only got to see them for a day it was still wonderful! & of course the food was incredible!

Yes, everyone should be jealous of the cheesecake!

My first Christmas on my own was a little sad, but everyone helped make it a great one!

CHRISTMAS TREE!

I'm so excited to have our tree up for mine, Aaron & Toulouse's first Christmas as a "family!"

ahaha you can probably tell that I was in charge of the decorating....

Aaron didn't seem to care about how I decorated, so of course I couldn't resist a Hello Kitty tree!

I'm almost COMPLETELY done with my Christmas gifts,

I finished everything for Australia last month, but I haven't been so great about everyone here! 

I've got a really teensy budget this year, so I've really had to stretch my dollar to cover everyone on my list. THANKFULLY I'm crafty, so almost everyone's gift I managed to keep under 10 dollars!

Pinterest has given me so many good ideas, I just can't wait to watch everyone open up their handmade treasures c:

Look how beautiful my little sister is!

She modeled for my etsy shop today, and of course did a great job!

She's such a natural, all of the pictures turned out great & we had a wonderful time. 

She is SO grown up, & looks so much like Emily, it's really starting to freak me out!

heated blanket

Grandma & Grandpa got us a heated blanket!

As much as he loves the box,

he actually really likes the blanket too!
I was testing it earlier & he was being so cute.

He snuggled under it with just his head poking out and went to sleep!

Chuy's Parade

This Saturday Leslie's cheer team was performing in the Chuys' Christmas Parade, so we all went to watch.

It was a children's parade, and you were supposed to bring a toy to donate. 

I had wayyyy too muh fun with this,and ended up finding the most perfect barbie in existence. 

Not only is it an art teacher barbie (that actually paints!) but it comes with a cat!

It could only have been better if it had red hair!

The parade was pretty cool though, there were two big balloons!

Of course Aaron refused to pose in front of the reindeer for me :c

ALSO

there were these REALLY cool Chinese dragon things!

The Texas Parks & Wildlife float was too cute!

(those are giant marshmallows they're roasting!)

& of course I had to get a pircture of the incredible Mater for Allie! 

But the best part was seeing Leslie, even though they didn't end up performing :c

All in all it was pretty neat and really fun.

When we got home our cat came up with the best idea for Christmas card photos!

Milk Tab Kitty

Out of the ridiculous amount of toys we spoil our cat with, his favorite ones are always trash. (boxes, plastic bags, pen caps, even the bathroom trashcan) His current obsession is sliding a milk tab under the laundry room door. It's silly, and eventually he slides it under so far that he can't get it back, but it's still pretty cute! 

next halloween!

As ridiculous as it sounds, I'm already planning my Halloween costume for next year!

Aaron got out of dressing up this year, but next year is a completely different story! 

This year I wanted to be Ash Ketchum & Misty, but I wanted Ash's costume to be perfect & I flaked & ran out of time. BUT NEXT YEAR I'm going to start planning in like July! ahahah

OR I'm thinking of maybe being Kim Possible! Aaron doesn't really look like Ron Stoppable but I don't even care! 

awe! I just google searched Kim Possible & look at this awesome costume this couple had!

& we can dress Toulousse up as the naked mole rat!

(exept probably not!)

Or of course we could be Ariel & Prince Eric! 

Who knows, I still have a year to decide!
